I enjoy talking about the different diets that are popular today. And I like to wrap up the blood type diet, better known as “Eat Right 4 Your Type” this week.


Listen, the idea behind this is much more complex than the time I have here. So, I also recommend you check the website dadamo.com, where Dr. Peter D’Adamo explains all you need to know to get started.


He simply spells-out how certain foods contain lectins, which are proteins that may cause inflammation.

For example:

GLUTEN may cause inflammation in Blood Types O and B. Blood Types O are therefore also more susceptible to inflammatory disorders; while B’s may deal more with Autoimmunity.

Blood Type A could get in trouble with a diet rich in BANANAS, TOMATOES, and all NIGHTSHADES. One big health risk-factor in A’s is cancer.

And Blood Type AB has characteristics of both A and B. Often low stomach acid, but still a need for good proteins. However look into smaller, more frequent meals.
